Kerrington held Aislinn close to her as she sang a Italian lullaby. It was the only one she remembered from when she was younger. She supposed the only reason she recognized it was because her mother used to sing it every night and every morning.

"Tu scendi dalle stelle
O Re del Cielo
E vieni in una grotta
Al freddo al gelo
E vieni in una grotta
Al freddo al gelo.

O Bambino mio Divino
Io ti vedo qui a tremar,
O Dio Beato!
Ah, quanto ti costò
L'avermi amato.
Ah, quanto ti costò
L'avermi amato.

A te che sei del mondo,
Il creatore,
Mancano panni e fuoco,
O mio Signore.
Mancano panni e fuoco,
O mio Signore.

Caro eletto pargoletto,
Quanto questa povertà
Più mi innamora,
Giacchè ti fece amor
Povero ancora.
Giacchè ti fece amor
Povero ancora.
"

When Kerrington finished the lullaby, she heard the door to Aislinn's nursery open and in walked Rigel with Isaac. "Hello love," She said pleasantly, smiling brightly at her husband and son.

Rigel tried to balance Isaac in his arms while feeding him with a bottle. He didn't even know if he was doing it right or whether the twins had been weaned yet. He left Kerrington to do that, seeing how he was so busy with, well, being the Minister and all.

Isaac kept wailing and struggling, while Rigel tried to keep him in his arms. This kid was really getting on his nerves.

But this kid was his son. He was going to love him no matter how fussy he was. Rigel put the bottle down and rocked his son in his arms. It seemed to calm Isaac down a bit.

"Sh, Little Man. It's okay." Isaac didn't need his diaper changed yet, which was good.

When Isaac's crying finally ceased, Rigel sighed and held him right side up, keeping his head close to his shoulder. Walking into Aislinn's nursery, he took in all the pink.

Pink walls, pink door, pink crib... The only things that weren't pink were the mauve butterflies that accented the wall, flying and fluttering on the surface.

"Hello, darling." He knelt down carefully in front of Kerrington and Aislinn and asked, "How's the Little Princess?"
